Sacrifice.

For now, this blog will be discontinued.

Fret not, for this is not permanent. I am TRYING to see this as the right decision for the fact of the matter is I spend way too much time on this blog, Facebook and Windows Live Messenger. Maybe, just maybe if I put a halt to these three things temporarily, I'd be able to concentrate more. I'm not saying I'm getting straight Fs or anything. My results have been pretty decent so far. Still though, I've only got around 230 days z0mgwtfbbq! left till SPM. I just want to try this out again. I did it once before and failed miserably (disappearing off the Internet). Not being online is one thing, but using the void left by my absence online to study and do productive things is another issue all on its own. I believe I can.

What's going to happen.

1) I'm going to deactivate Facebook at 12.00 am on the 31st of March.
This is not permanent. If I'm invited for parties and pictures are taken and uploaded, then I'll come back on to have a look at them. I'll come back maybe once a month to just see what things are like. You will not see me online on Facebook chat ever again (dumdumdumm). I will be taking a leave of absence from Facebook Mafia and Texas Hold'em Poker for as long as I am gone.

2) I'm going to delete this blog at 12.00 am on the 1st of April. I figured that I'd leave the blog available for a day so that everyone can read this blog post and understand what the hell is going on. This blog will not be updated any further. Come December, a new blog will be opened with a whole new do. Until then, it's goodbye to this blog. Take one last good look at previous posts, etc. etc.

3) I'm going to remove Windows Live Messenger. This will take place right after my blog is no more. This application takes up most of my time. At times, you'd be able to find me staring at my contact list blankly almost as if I'm waiting for someone to IM me. This is time consuming (lol). This will be the hard one for, to be honest. I've never not had WLM with me. I'm regretting this one mostly because of AIDA, WEN JUN and SARTAH because we hardly keep in touch with our cellphones. This is going to suck big big ( :P@ CW ). Oh damn this sucks. I'm not chickening out though. I've made my decision. I'm also going to miss random mafia game invites. MAFIA PLAYERS ahhhh. I'll see you guys in 8 months :)

What you can do to stay in touch if you want to (but you probably won't because I suck)

1) PHONE LAH. I'm not going into depression and isolating myself from the world (yet). Those who should have my cell and house number already do. So if you need anything, just sms or call me. Very simple.

2) EMAIL. Tanya Krishnamani. EMAIL.

3) Come to McDonalds Green Lane on Thursdays. (Aida ftw)

4) Come visit me at me casa :D (su casa!)

What you shouldn't do (but probably will because I just told you not to)

Nothing :) HAAAHAAA sorry

This is the part where you expect me to type out a list of people whom I'm going to miss in my absence, right? This is not going to happen. I'm being politically correct here. I'm going to miss a whole bunch of you, especially the people who I'm only in touch with online and by no other means. It'll suck. The rest of you know I'll miss you without me mentioning it. Let's keep it that way.

Who am I?

Who is but the form following the function of what, and what I am is a blogger. A blogger signing out with the greatest (not really) of regards to all of his readers.

I'll see you soon.

If not,
I'll see you later :)

Uno

On this date, back in the year 1533, Henry VIII divorced his 1st wife, Catherine of Aragon. Betcha you didn't know that. This is significant because we all know that good ol' Henry decided to become a player and marry 8 other women after poor Catherine. On second thought, you probably didn't know that either.

Anyways.

This is it.

I've got to sleep though.

Expect a lot of random updates coming up throughout the day.

Soon yeah?

Earth Hour is an international event organised by the WWF , and held on the last Saturday of March each year, which asks households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change.

Just realized we're not supposed to turn off the electricity, just the lights. That's pretty cool too. Best part is some of my neighbours are doing it as well. Good stuff.

Just under an hour left. It's going to be fun. I'm having a candle light dinner with the family tonight.

This blog goes in two days.

I guess I should start saying my temporary goodbyes.

Unfortunately, that is not going to happen. Instead, here I sit in the dark (preparing for Earth Hour of course) thinking about the past. Most of my fondest memories come from my time at SKBL, interestingly enough.

The sad thing is, no one else probably remembers them. The people involved at least.
I found out two days ago that my current house captain in school's sister was a good friend of my brother's back when they were in SKBL. They even took the same bus back (C49). That got me thinking about this whole thing again. Stuff from back in the day.

I remember bringing a whole bunch of Goosebumps books to school one day, and then on the way home from school, I opened a library at the back of the bus, made library cards and the best part was the kids actually came and borrowed books to read on the way home. So cute lah. Oh, but I got a shelling from my brother once he found out though, because all the books I took from his bookshelf without letting him know :D

I also remember my grandad picking me up from school a whole lot in Standard One. There was this one time where he picked me up and drove me straight home with grandmum and my brother. As he turned in to my house road, there my bus was on the same road. Presumably, my bus driver Ah Yeow (shit that just came back to me) thought I was on the bus. My house is located on a road with a dead end. And so when my bus turned around, my friends (Ashwin, Krishna, Wen Yan, and an indian girl who I think was named Gayathri) put their heads out the window and started shouting my name and waving frantically. I remember my brother
asking me (while looking at Ashwin), "Who's that Eurasian boy?" and I merely said "He isn't Eurasian, he's Ashwin!" That's besides the point though. I just thought of this, remembering what a great bunch of friends I had back then. It's always nice to know that they're all still alive. I see them once in a while, except for Krishna, who is always around -_-

8.28!

Gotta go.

Help me. You killed my brother George, you bastard! Let's see you now. Let's see you now. It's scared of us you know? I can feel that. I swear to God I can. I... I wanna kill it. Help me. Please help me. Help me.

---==---

Hi-ya, Georgie! Aren't cha gonna say... *hello*?
[shakes head]
Awww, come on Bucko! Don't ya want a... balloon?
I'm not supposed to take stuff from strangers. My dad said so.
Very wise of ya dad, Georgie - very wise indeed; I Georgie, am Pennywise the Dancin'Clown- and you are Georgie! So now we know each otha! Keeerect?

---==---

Take your pick, B-b-b-Billy boy. Oh, except for the one on the end, that's already taken. Sorry.

---==---

I believe in Santa Claus. I believe in the Easter Bunny. I believe in the Tooth Fairy. But I don't believe in you. This is battery acid. Now, you disappear!

---==---

My dad says there's no way to date this one. He says it's probably from the early or mid 1700s when Derry was a logging town.

---==---

BEEP BEEP Richie! They ALL float down here. When you're down here with us, you'll float too!

---==---

Swear to me. Swear to me that if it isn't dead, we'll all come back.

social circus.

It's tough when you think you've got the stuff... when you think you've got good friends. I mean, I DO have good friends. VERY good friends. But I'm not sure about a few of them.
I was told that even if I wrote off being in a social circle, I'd still be a part of it whether I liked it or not. Fair enough.

So since I'm still part of it, I'd like to know what the hell is going on. Most of you fight with each other and end up being friends again. Then you fight again. I mean... FUCKING HELL do you have any idea how irritating that is? How pathetic, stupid, sickening. We pretend to be the closest of friends and we end up backstabbing each other. The worst part is, some of us take sides. We rank people in the circle, don't we? Who should I talk to first? Who can I trust most? Who shouldn't I go to for help? If we're a social circle, shouldn't we be able to trust everyone in it evenly and fairly? Not go to one person, say bad things about another member in the group and relate his/her problems to someone else and then keep that member in discussion completely clueless about it all. We're all so fraudulent. Sometimes I see most of our ties and bonds of fellowship as nothing more than a sham. Whether any of you want to admit it, I'm sure we've all felt this way at some point. ESPECIALLY this past three months.

I'm leaving soon anyway. I always find out stuff when I come online, willingly and unwillingly. I know I probably won't be able to keep it all out, seeing that I go to school with 3 of you. I'm bound to get a gist of something or the other. But still, everything will be at a minimality hopefully. I just wish that we'd had a smoother friendship... all of us. Some of us would argue and say that we did. Not from my point of view. Not by a mile. It's probably too late now, what with all the deceit.

None of us are innocent here, except maybe Narinder, but probably not :P
I just am so sickened by how pathetic most of us have become. All of us.

That's it though. We're at a point where we've got to pick sides. Where we've got to alienate a few people in the circle. It wouldn't have been this way if all the shit that happened didn't happen.
But... whatever happened, happened.

Apart from a select few of you, I've only got basics to go back to.

The Mahishas, Deepaks, Alexs, Danielas, Nireshs and Nishas.
Because we're so kickass nothing can possibly destroy us.

xoxo.

I've realized that all my sources of happiness, sadness, confusion, discontentment, anger and everything else in between comes from me being online reading things, seeing things, observing things.

I want out.

Like no other.

You know when people say that they've had the time of their lives in a short span of time? You know how ridiculous that sounds when you think about that statement? I thought it was too... and then this weekend happened. I'm not going to exaggerate and say this was the time of my LIFE, seeing that I'm just 5 years old and have at least another 70 left in me. Nonetheless, this weekend has been pretty amazing, so to speak. There was a little glitch in the proceedings, with the lack of Chittesh and Divya in the mix of it all. Then again, I really did enjoy myself, sans Chittesh and Divya.

It started with last Friday. The start of a 10-day break. It'd been in planning for at least 2 weeks (before the start of my evaluation tests). CW, Sartah and I. HOWEVER, Sartah couldn't make it... why again? I can't remember. Anyways, I managed to catch up with CW, eat sushi, and talk and talk :D Stoooopid Sartah why didn't you come? I really don't know when I'll see you again. :(
Managed to get a couple of pictures with CW before she had to leave.

So that was Friday. Really good way to signal the start of the hols.

Saturday

Gosh. Saturdayyyyyy.

In the morning, I had to go to Gembira Parade to sit for my stupid computer undang test driving thing. A little pointer to future applicants: Go to Gembira Parade at 9 AM SHARP. My driving institute decided to send me at 10AM and there were already 70 people signed up to take the same test. So I arrived at 10 and only ended up sitting for the exam at 1. I was supposed to meet Dhivia at Youth Park at 2. That didn't work out too well. If you care, I passed my undang exam. I got 42/50. (Passing mark is 42/50). The next step is to sit for another 3 hour talk and then I can sign up for driving lessons. I can't wait for this shit to be over. Moving on..

I got home at 2 (The exam took me 20+ minutes). Packed up everything I needed to pack up and my mum dropped me off at Youth Park. I'm not going to bore you with specific details. Let's just say it was good. Okay damn it, I feel the need to bore you with specific details. I wouldn't be doing justice to the whole event if I didn't.

I guess the best part about the whole event was the company I had. I managed to spend precious time with special people.

Other than them,
The PFS Interact team, my Relay Team - Idols, Matthew, Aida, Celvan, Vishvan, Paalan, Dharshini and PANG (I'm so glad you made it dude. It was awesome having you around).
Met a few new faces too, namely Aqilah, Vithya, Justin, May and Shuhail POLKADOT.

Relay on the whole was really good.
(Except for the part where Manchester United HAD to lose 1-4 to Liverpool). All the games, activities and small things here and there compiled altogether was pretty overwhelming at one point.

Toast stories? (refer to previous post)
HPV?
Truth or DARE (dear God)
Moving tents /whoo
Backward race
Limbooo
etc.

I know you're both going to read this Shoe and Subashini. I probably overreacted the other day. But I had good reason to do so. What you guys did, like you said, was pathetic and immature. But whatever. I'm not one to hold grudges. Let's just not let that happen again okay? And Subashini, I'd no idea. I liked that little heart-to-heart we had, though it was cut short by HANEESHA :P

That was Saturday/Sunday. I spent a good 17 hours in bed after I got home.

Then came yesterday.

Let me start things of by saying Kumar's party was great.
I don't think I've ever been that excited at a party before. Yet again, amazing people + amazing ambiance = amazing time. That's exactly what it was... an amazing time. Again, without Chittesh there was a little damper on the whole occasion but there was no point bringing the whole party down with his absence. We still had fun.

Size matters not.

We. Are. Not. Emo.

Celvan and Luvenia. (we are not in the year 2024)

The only thing that sucked was that it had to end. We were all dancing our asses off having a good time when Kumar said 'time to go home'. We still hung around for about another hour after that but stilllll. It sucked that the party had to end. And it sucked that Luvenia lost her cell. Pssh.

So that is why I enjoyed every bit of my weekend. I sort of felt free for the first time in a long time. Like SPM was done and dusted... like there were no issues going on in my life... free.

---------=======----------

Little things

Unless you're living under a rock, you would have realised that I've updated my blog look. What do you guys think of it? I decided to give it a little change for the remaining days before I disappear. Black seemed to fit the theme I was going for. I don't know what theme that is exactly. Just a brooding, doodoodoodooooo-kinda theme lah kthxbye.

---==---

Paalan. What the hell is up with you?

---==---

That's about it.

Gossip Girl is officially back on the air. If you've not started downloading Episode 18 yet, then you've officially failed at life.

xoxo.

Toast Story

Instead of a ghost story...

As I opened the pack of bread, I felt the urge to eat toasted bread. Toast. I took the pieces of bread put butter on them. I put them in the toaster and turned the switch on. The pieces of bread began to burn and the butter began to melt. The butter fell to the base of the toaster. Minutes later, the beep was heard and the toasts were ready. I took the scintillating, burnt bread out of the toaster. I put them on a plate. Slowly but not slowly (umm), I whipped out a knife and spread margarine over the pieces of toast. The margarine and butter mixed together to heed a smell so tempting... so luscious. I then put jam on the pieces of toast. The jam became hot due to the blistering heat given off by the toast. I smelled strawberry jam. I then put the pieces of toast together to form a sandwich. There were crumbs everywhere. I ate the toast sandwich and it gave me a sense of salaciousness. The feeling was almost orgasmic.

The End.

1) This is purely fiction.
2) Yes, I know that salaciousness means 'stimulating sexual desire'. Did you?
3) This story was for Luvenia and Pang. I enjoyed the tent ;)
4) No orgasmic toast.

break it down bitch, let me see you back it up.

Does anyone else find it completely ridiculous when people refer to their boyfriends or girlfriends as 'HIM' or 'HER'.

Eg: I am going out with HER now.
Eg2: I love HIM.
Eg3: I want HER now.

I mean, why? Why not just type out the person's name instead of leaving people pondering on the identity of 'HIM' or 'HER'?
I find it stupid. Even if you wanted to be mysterious, why not be a little more creative?

Eg4: I'm going out with Panda Poo.
Eg5: I love my Twiggums.
Eg6: I want my Butterpie now.

At least there'd be a little hilarity to the whole issue.
Btw, those names were randomly generated, except for Panda Poo.

Just food for thought..

This made me laugh last night even when I was feeling pathetically miserable. It's THAT good. There are swear words in this video but I SWEAR it's worth it. Don't be a fanny and watch it now.

La Fleur...

I am very pissed off with my computer. You see, I'm a geek when it comes to Lost. It remains as the only show that can make me get up at 3 am on a weeknight to watch it. (I'm talking about downloading it.) As soon as I have it, I MUST watch it. No two ways about it. So today, I started to download the latest episode, La Fleur ('the flower' in English) and it moved at 60+ kb/s. A frickin 300MB amount of the file downloaded within one and a half hours. So then I go down for dinner. When I come back up, the computer's hung. FUCKIN A

So I am pissed. Very pissed. But lets lighten things up in this post, shall we?

Today at school, my teacher made me buy a Buku Kesihatan. Basically it's this book that you keep throughout your schooling life that has a record of all your health information, issues, etc. Naturally, I didn't have one. Or well, I think I did but it got lost in translation. Anyways, I had to get one today for a buck. At the front of this thingamabob I had to list down all the classes I'd been in for the past 10 years. So what I was actually supposed to have done is carry this book with me from Standard One all the way through to Form Five without it being lost, torn, incinerated or stolen. Good luck with that, anyone.
