Not yet.
For we are not yet free, the inevitable reconnection remains in the shadows.
But for now, all I can promise is that I will see you again.
But not yet, not yet...

Dear Preference, part 2.
Welcome back, Preference.
I didn't want to see you again. Alas, I have and I'm not happy.
Go away.

Coincidence.
The age gap between my elder brother and myself is seven years. For a long period of time I thought that seven year gaps between siblings were rare. Turns out, they aren't. I've found two connections between my brother and myself (friend-wise) that I'd never have thought existed.
When my brother was in primary school, the same one I went to (Sekolah Kebangsaan Batu Lanchang), he knew a girl named Michelle Quah and a guy named Evan Quah. I don't know how close or far apart they were in terms of friendship but there was nonetheless some form of interaction between the three. Turned out, Michelle Quah was none other than the elder sister of Laureen Quah, a person I'd like to think I was close to at some point of time. But still, whoa. I lived past Batu Lanchang and all knowing Laureen Quah and what're the chances my brother and her were friends too? Moreover, my brother and Evan continued being friends through Penang Free School. AND, Laureen's grandparents' place is 2 houses away from my grandparents' place. I went to a debating competition with a girl named Jessica Quah, who ended up being Laureen's cousin.
My brother always told me about his friend Dawson, even from way back in 2002 when they went to PFS together. So today my brother and I walk into Dawson and his parents in Chilis. His friend, Stefan Dawson, ends up being the elder brother of Shari Dawson and Sean Dawson, two people I've heard of, one of which I see almost every other day. I know for a fact that my brother and Dawson were pretty tight back in Free School along with a few other people, very much similar to the kind of companionship Chittesh, Paalan, Narinder, Jerome and myself have going on. That close. So yeah, to imagine that my brother was very good friends with the brother/sister of people I know was a wee bit creepy. I'm sorry I bored you with this. I was just very amused with the coincidence of it all and thought I'd share the amusement.

Moments 001.
I remember watching the destruction of the world trade center live on CNN. When I first watched it, I was 9 and I had no clue what was going on. Until I read The Star the next day, I wondered why my mum and brother were so fascinated with what was going on on TV. All I thought they were watching was two factory buildings with smoke being emitted through the its stacks.
true story.
I miss blogginggg I'll be back before you know it.
