A new post

"I want the chance to change the things I can, the courage to accept the things I can't and the wisdom to know the difference between them."

I saw leaving Penang as an opportunity to just leave Penang behind. Make sense? So much drama and llamas lah. What do I have to look at when I turn around? Two failed relationships from my own doing, an out-of-touch friendship with the one person I swore I'd never let slip through the test of time, a whole bunch of friends that moved on in my absence and Jessica looking depressed on my room wall. Bless her face soul.

I do miss the Dhivias, Luvenias, Haneeshas and Navniths (and Abus x) ) BUT Y'ALL SEEM FINE WITHOUT ME. It's awesome that you're all good and you know... alive and stuff.
I'll always miss Penang and its benefits but some things just have to be let go. (yes that's grammatically correct English bitch)

I have been good, I'm living and I need to sleep.

This is my fourth attempt at reviving this blog. This time I changed the picture over there >>> and updated the profile info. The Purported Polish. Has a good ring to it, no?

Okay enough of all this soap opera bull crap (for my under-aged readers). Insya-God, the next post will showcase all the fun you didn't have and all the concerts you didn't go for.

I'm not sure if 'to be let go' is grammatically correct.

Adieu.

Better

Okay, I know you're thinking, "What is this? Kid spends a few days in the hospital and all his problems are cured?" But I'm not. I know I'm not. I can tell this is just the beginning. I still need to face my homework, my school, my friends. My dad. But the difference between today and last Saturday is that for the first time in a while, I can look forward to the things I want to do in my life. Bike, eat, drink, talk. Ride the subway, read, read maps. Make maps, make art. Finish the Gates application. Tell my dad not to stress about it. Hug my mom. Kiss my little sister. Kiss my dad. Make out with Noelle. Make out with her more. Take her on a picnic. See a movie with her. See a movie with Aaron. Heck, see a movie with Nia. Have a party. Tell people my story. Volunteer at 3 North. Help people like Bobby. Like Muqtada. Like me. Draw more. Draw a person. Draw a naked person. Draw Noelle naked. Run, travel, swim, skip. Yeah, I know it's lame, but, whatever. Skip anyway. Breathe... Live.
