Recap (for the lesser informed people...)

- Drama practice has been fun. I'm really relishing the time spent with people I wont have the pleasure of socializing with come the closing stages of this year.

- I have a ton of schoolwork that requires completion within the next couple of days. Drama practice has had its cons as well. It's minimized my time with school books and such.

- I miss Chittesh Shukla, whom for one reason or another has not been in touch with me and vice-versa. What's been going on?! I'm going to call you tomorrow and you better pick up.

- With the annual drama competition for secondary schools coming up, my friends and I have been given the task of coming up with a script for a 15 minute skit. A single moral value is required. (Any one BUT patriotism, which I am sick and tired off.) Any ideas? We need all the help we can get.

- Birthday month approaching. For my own good, I've told myself that I'll celebrate my birthday just once this year. I've got a friend called Paalan who is having a small get-together of his own. If permitted, I would very much like to celebrate mine and his together for the members of our social circles are very much similar to one another's. Rsvp, Paalan.

- Speaking of the 15th, I'd very much like it if you turned up at Dewan Sri Pinang on Friday the 13th of February for a collection of different performances. For 20 ringgit, you get to see Paalan in his breakout role as Romeo and me as a mime. The two of that combined is already worth more than 20 ringgit in my humble and oh so bias opinion, so its a pretty good deal yeah?

- Speaking of the 13th, Valentine's Day and Kumar's birthday are on the 14th of February. Completely ignoring the latter subject of the previous sentence (for reasons I have no intentions on revealing), Valentine's Day is about 2 weeks away now and I've got myself a Valentine. Have you? In all seriousness, I've realised only recently that Valentine's Day shouldn't just solely be for lovers and soul mates to celebrate. Valentine's Day is one of the only occasions on which you have an excuse to meet up with a friend or friends, depending on how you role (especially when you have strict parents). I'm making the 14th of next month an excuse to meet up with a friend whom I love verryy much and whom I've not seen in around seven months. I am looking forward to V day this year. I think its going to be one of those days that I'm probably going to remember for the rest of the year. Not because I'm going on a date on Valentine's Day, but because I'm going to utilize a relatively small-scale occasion completely by having a blast with an amazing friend.

- With all that said, it looks like I'm going to have a pretty hectic (for entirely good reasons) February. This will stop. I've sort of set a point at which there will be a closure to all my social necessities (from a going-out sense). April. I've thought long and hard and April seems like a good month to stop everything. The planned hiatus to all social activities (except for a select few) will be one that will be hard to bare with (especially for someone like me). The thing is... I've done it before... a few years back. And to the people that knew me well back then, you know that when I say "I will disappear", I really REALLY mean it.

"But that is the future I speak off. Dwelling upon the future shall bring forth the death of me. And for that reason, and that reason alone... I concede defeat to my innocent philosophy, and shall remain in the present where forthcoming things are yet uncertain. "

Question of faith.

In my life on this planet I have come to question many things that many take on as blind faith. We all know that someday we will 'physically' die, Yet, we continuously deny the forces working inside ourselves which want to search out the true outcome of what may or may not come after death. It's far easier for humanity to accept that they will go on to a safe haven and be forgiven for all, rather than to question the existence of a super omnipotent being. Fortunately, there are some of us who tend to question the 'why's and 'how's that come before us. We question the creation of humanity and the religious teachings received from our parents and our society. What you're about to read examines the many rational arguments for and against the existence of God. Because I am so bored, I will try and show that there is no sufficient proof or comprehensive arguments for the existence of God.

Please know that I don't intend to offend anyone. Personal opinion, this is. I've been meaning to get this out on my blog. Sorry for not updating more regularly. I've just got a lot of things going on. Once I get more attuned to my ever-so irregular schedule, updates to this blog will be more frequent. I promise. So here we go.

Some people search for eternal peace through the beliefs in God but this is an impossible belief because of the chances, the plausibility, and because of science.

God generally refers to one supreme, holy, personal being,. The divine unity of ultimate goodness and of ultimate reality. Even a fool can grasp or understand the concept of "a being than of which nothing greater can be conceived." A fool would say that the concept of this being's existence is only in his mind and in the mind of others but not in reality. However, there is a possibility of this being existing in reality. Whatever is understood by the fool is argued that than which nothing is greater can be conceived cannot solely exist in the mind but also in reality, hence, God exists. It is not possible to visualize the concept of this perfect being because one can only imagine an image when one has an idea of what that image is suppose to resemble. There is no idea behind the image therefore the image itself can't exist. This ontological argument is impressive to the average mind but to others (ie you, hopefully) it's deception is clear. With words like perfect, necessary and existent that are built into it's definition, it seems impossible to be argued with. Even if the theist could prove in some miraculous way of this perfect being's existence, he still wouldn't be able to link that "being" to being God.

Actually, I think I'll stop right here. I've decided not to continue this discussion. Not because I don't want to, but because I think I should not.

Personally, I would like to believe that there is a God. Unfortunately, it is painfully clear to me that an existence based upon blind faith is no longer an acceptable tradition to follow. I hoped to find some form of evidence in order to maintain the path of faith in God instilled in me by my parents. Unfortunately, such was not the case. have made arguments for the existence of God. I would like people to realize that individuals like Mohamed and Jesus are in fact men, not Gods and the Bible and Quran are, in actuality, only books. To believe the contents of any book completely, in my opinion, is devastating to ones well being, especially those with little to no proof to defend its stories/statements. Hey... like I said, that is my opinion.

Enough of this.

xoxo. :)

Three people

First.

Racism.
Racism is not an ability that people are born with but it is based on how an individual is raised and what they learn when they are younger. There are many solutions in the world to prevent racism. However, this does not mean that such attempts would put an end to racism because racism will always exist as long as we live. But what the rest of the public.... WE can do is help minimize racism. It is a shame that many people feel such hate towards a group but maybe if they try to deal with the change and personal frustrations maturely, they can be able to get more comfortable around the minority groups. People are people and if one can be broader minded, and does not base other individuals on their skin color and accept them for who they are, it would be a significant step towards minimizing racism. Come on people... we're in 2009 for fucks sake.

Second.

We may not talk for a long time but we're still friends okay? I love youuuuuuu wifeyyyyyy :D

Third. I know you're reading this

There are no lies within a friendship because in order to be a good friend you have to be trusted. Even when no one is telling lies, there can be plenty of fights and arguments in friendships. There can be fights that last over a long period of time or there are even the times where you fight and everything's fine the next minute. The fights are usually caused because of all the different personalities different people have. If your best friend had a different personality than you chances are you will have fights or arguments, that's normal. Now, friendship isn't just about fighting, there is a lot of happiness in a friendship. Friends love each other and will do anything for one another.
(10 days and counting... still waiting...)

Skins.

This blog post is solely for Aida and Chittesh.

So you're both missing Skins as much as I do? Don't worry about it. I just scored an article online giving us a first look at Series 3.

Series Three of Skins introduces a whole new cast.

Except for Pandora

and Effy.

Introducing:

JJ

Katie and Emily (they're twins so there's only one picture) (lol)

Freddie

Karen

Thomas

Naomi

and Cook [who in real life is Kaya's ex-boyfriend. (Trust me I'd know) ]

---------===---------

The Class of 2009 is headed up by the beautiful and elusive EFFY (Kaya Scodelario), returning as the new queen bee. She’s joined by sweet and kooky best-friend, PANDORA (Lisa Backwell) who keeps the gang together.

The guys are led by the irrepressible and irresponsible COOK (Jack O’Connell) a daring and charismatic leader of the gang. His best mates are FREDDIE (Luke Pasqualino) who’s the skateboarding, weed-smoking ‘cool’ one, and JJ aka Jonah Jeremiah Jones (Ollie Barbieri), the master illusionist.

The twins KATIE (Megan Prescott) and EMILY (Kathryn Prescott) are pulling in different directions. One wanting to shed her twin and gain status, the other hanging on, crippled by shyness. Completing the girls is passionate, political and principled NAOMI (Lily Loveless). Finally, THOMAS (Merveille Lukeba), good and honest, he travels from the Congo to set up home for his family, and has to find his feet in a new and strange country.

Together the gang bond as they fall in and out of love and lust, fight one another, compete against each another, and also unite as one.

--------===--------

Did I mention I've got the new Skins Series 3 promotional trailer? :D

The version above is VERY clear. If you're impatient then you can watch it on YouTube here.

-------===-------

Didn't that just brighten up your day? It sure did for me.

To those who can't relate to this post, I feel really sorry for you.

As the holidays have come to an end, I'd like to give you the finalized list of Things To Do that I made back when the holidays started in November. How much did I manage to accomplish? Truthfully, more than I expected.

The List
1. Get a new do done for my hair. This long curly/wavy hair of mine is unmanageable. PASS
2. Hang out with Wen Jun and Sartah MORE than once. PASS
3. Pass Aida the entire Skins series somehow. PASS
3. Get Chulan to come over to my place to watch The Emperor's Club, Armageddon and Into The Wild. ( in no specific order ) Hopefully Chittesh and Narinder join this movie watching as well. PASS (Without Armageddon and The Emperor's Club)
4. Meet up with Divya PASS
5. Meet up with Dhivia, Varun and Keshen (not necessarily but most probably together)
PASS
6. Become a table tennis pro (this is kind of extreme) (I just meant get better at the game) FAIL
7. Paintball. PASS
8. Camp. PASS
9. Reach Level 50 in the Kingdom of Loathing. PASS
10. Spend a ridiculous amount of time at Mahisha's place FAIL
11. Complete my undang test. (decided against it)
12. Get a part-time job somewhere in Queensbay Mall. (decided against it)
13. If in KL, meet up with my wife, Ashereen and our seven kids. FAIL
14. Try, just TRY to attend the Combined Training Camp. FAIL
15. Hang with the gang. (Chittesh,Paalan, Narinder,Jerome) FAIL (No meet-up with Jerome)
16. I NEED TO HANG WITH HANEESHA WHOM WHICH I HAVE NOT CHILLED WITH FOR A LONG TIME :D FAIL :(

-----------=-----------

I've enjoyed the holiday I've been on. I'm happy it has finally come to an end for I've been far too lazy (even by my standards). This holiday has been really good for me, in almost every way possible. The scary thing is, there won't be another 'end-year school holiday' for me after this. I love that thought. Just to think that this time next year I'd be having arguably the time of my life while waiting for my SPM results.

Yup, I can see it now... hanging out with Chittesh, Narinder, Paalan, Wen Jun, Satah, Aida. Wowwweeee that does sound good.
Sorry for the monologue.
All I've got to do now is get that SPM thing out of the way.

SCHOOL STARTS TOMORROW. GO PACK YOUR BAGS PEOPLE. :D

problemo mucho gusto the sequel LOL

Why I'm having a happy new year?

Because I'm not talking to my closest friend in the whole world.
Because my dearest friend's rabbit passed away today and isn't very happy.
'*pokes* you're my new best friend'. Enough said.
Because a friend is 607.98 kilometers away from Penang.
Because a friend leaves Penang tomorrow.
Because a majority of my childhood friends are leaving Penang within the next two months.
Because a friend didnt talk to me before 2009, as planned.
Because a friend wants to set things straight, for the umpteenth time. Geez.
Because a friend avoided my new year message. I thought things were supposed to be settled.

Woooooh.
