American Idol

If there's one thing I've not really been in this year it's the American Idol craze. I figured I'd take a year off from all the hype. So on Wednesday I decided to watch only my third episode of this season (the first and second time being when my mum made me watch Anoop sing a while back).
I'm rooting for Adam Lambert because he is better than Kris. That's it really. The sad thing is, Kris is going to win. Mark my words. Sad sad Americans. But then again, that might not be a bad thing. Runners-up do better sometimes (Katharine McPhee VS Taylor Hicks anyone?)

I had a thing for a girl once. I could not stop thinking about her. It was her in my head, always. And then one day, she had to go. She never wrote, she never called. It's funny... the contrast with what's left of her in my head to what there once was. Right now, when I think of her, I can't even remember what she looks like. So if you were to ask me "Is three years long enough to get over someone?", then I'd have to say yes... definitely.

Movie outing was nice. Plan changed and we ended up watching Wolverine in Gurney Plaza. I'll give the movie a 6/10 (which is above average btw). The story worked well enough with a few plot holes leading up to the original X Men movie. Special-effects were quite noticeable though. Biggest regret: No free movie posters :(

The last couple of nights have been highly enjoyable, minus the little drama thing I had to go through. But I just find it pretty amazing how Naveen, Deepak, Maish and myself are still able to get along so so well after all these years. We wouldn't be complete without a little input from Swarna. I've enjoyed spending 5-6 hours at Century Bay just bumming around, playing Pictionary, Taboo and 'Name, Place, Animal, Thing'. We won't be able to do this for a while now, the lot of us. Fingers crossed that Redang works out.

Congratulasyen (geddit?) to Luvenia for being offered a contract to do whatever it is she does best and all. Despite my telling her that she's done very well, she won't admit. It's not allll about winning. Though I agree, money would have been useful. I've got no credit btw, our little incident cost me 27 ringgit, and that is why I've not replied your sms.
